Summer Reads: In Conversation with Eduardo Halfon
Don't miss this chance to meet an exciting new writer whose debut has been hand-picked by seasoned readers as one not to miss this summer.

The Polish Boxer is the sparkling English debut from one of Latin America's most exciting new voices, Eduardo Halfon. This personal and inviting set of stories has already impressed opinion leaders across the world. Halfon's personal style invites speculation and the reader is never sure whether they're reading memoir or fiction. It doesn't much matter however, as what's on the page is always a moving account of a young man's attempt to find some kind of truth. Whether it's about what happened to Halfon's Granddad in the concentration camps, or a search for his pianist friend in Belgrade you'll want to keep on reading.

Find out more about the book and read background material at www.summerreads.org.uk. Then don't miss this chance to meet the author and one of his translators and to put your questions to them at this unique event.
