Unison Courses: Bicycle Maintenance and Safe Cycle Training

On Saturday August 3rd in partnership with UNISON lifelong learning Bicycle Links will be running a two hour bicycle maintenance course from 14:00-16:00.  This course is suitable for anyone that wants a better understanding of their bike and how to keep it in good working order.  The course will cover maintenance of tyres, wheels, brakes and gears.  No previous experience working on bikes is necessary. The course will be held at the Bicycle Links’ worksite at 18 St Mary’s Works, Duke Street, Norwich, NR3 1QA. The cost of the course is £12 per person for the full two hour session.

On Tuesday August 6th from 13:00-14:00, we will also be offering safe cycling training at County Hall and the surrounding streets. The course will be led by qualified a National Instructor trainer.  It aims to help build confidence about riding a bike or riding on the road for inexperienced bike owners. The cost of the session is £6 per person.

Places are limited, book early to avoid disappointment. To book onto either course or for more information please contact Melissa Brown UNISON lifelong learning project worker at melissabrown.unison@btconnect.com or on 07717517564.
